First words
fall
like
stemware
slippery
and
precious
as
we both
reach
out
to catch
them
It has been
far
too long
since
we
shared
the space
with
wine
winding
our way
forward
our voices
crack
with the stiff
musty
familiar
binding
our laughter
gives way
slowly
slides
out
with the loose
leaf
and
dust
swirling
around
us
in this moment
it is as if
no time
has
passed
our
story
drifts
forever
between
the clouds
and
the water
fall
like
stemware
slippery
and
precious
as
we both
reach
out
to catch
them
It has been
far
too long
since
we
shared
the space
with
wine
winding
our way
forward
our voices
crack
with the stiff
musty

around
us
in this moment

drifts
forever
between
the clouds
and
the water

The structure was like water flowing down. Nice piece!
ReplyDeleteLovely. I visualize two old friends or two old lovers. Thank you. xoA
ReplyDeleteA synchronization of thoughts. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love this. Very discriptive, flowy, like I'm floating on water as I'm reading it. Well done!
ReplyDeletePeace,
