Muse on my Back - The Beginning of NaPoWriMo 2017

Today marks the beginning of the National Poetry Month and as part of this I will be writing a poem a day for the next 30 days. What may seem a fool's errand to some (it does commence on April Fool's day or as it is known in France, Poisson d'Avril*) is a quest that I am embracing... Here will be my words - unedited, sometimes rushed, often forced and just maybe, if the muse is kind, beautiful....
