Binary Fission

April 02, 2016

I remember you
all raven
tight coil
and crochet
we lay late
summer days
on your white cast iron bed
watching the future
hearing the train
pass by

I see you
all onyx
side sway
and cigarettes
we move from
each other’s ways
on our potholed path
watching the past
hearing the birds
pass by

I see you
all pearl
tall twist
and pirouettes
we grab hold
the balance bar
facing our mirrors
watching the love
hearing the dancers
pass by

I see me
all auric
day dream
and quoi je ne sais*
I reach out
for the scaffold rail
watching the moment
hearing the bus
pass by

*Translation: what I do not know.
